LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A popular beer festival is returning to Louisville in a few weeks.
Tailspin Ale Fest will be held March 1 at Bowman Field. The event showcases airplanes and more than 250 craft beers.
General admission is $60 for the beer festival. A portion of the proceeds support Pints for Parkinson's, a nonprofit helping Louisvillians fight against the progression of the disease.
While the event has been around for more than a decade, there will be some new additions this year.
"We're going to have a second-line New Orleans style band marching around as added entertainment, but also it's all about the beer," said Tisha Gainey, co-founder of Tailspin Ale Fest. "It's all about the food, and the fun."
There will also be live music, a cigar lounge and a silent disco.Â
