Higher cigarette tax in Indiana sends smokers across the river for cheaper packs

In Indiana, about $30 of the cost of a carton comes from cigarette taxes. In Kentucky, the price is roughly 50% lower, and the Kentucky cigarette tax is $1.10 per pack.
