LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Sugar cookies sold at Target are being recalled in 20 states, including Indiana and Kentucky, for potential wood contamination.
The recall affects the Favorite Day Bakery frosted sugar cookies in a 10-count package. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the cookies may contain "foreign material" said to be wood.
The recall notice is for a little more than 800 cases of the cookies and was issued on July 22.
