LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville-based senior living company is planning a major expansion in Crestwood.

According to our partners at Louisville Business First, Trilogy Health Services announced Tuesday it intends to break ground on a $30 million senior living and skilled nursing campus later this year.

The project is planned near the intersection of Interstate 71 and Ky. 329. Pending approval, construction is expected to take about 18 months to complete.

The campus will include 123 residences offering independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services. It is also expected to create about 125 jobs, with more than three-quarters of those positions being full time.

"This new campus gives us the opportunity to serve more older adults and families in Crestwood and throughout Oldham County while continuing our commitment to excellence in the experience we provide and the care we deliver," CEO Leigh Ann Barney said in a news release.

Founded in Louisville, Trilogy operates more than 150 senior living communities in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin.
