LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Cincinnati Reds Winter Caravan will visit Louisville later this month.
The Reds Caravan will visit Louisville Slugger Field at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24. Reds President of Baseball Operations Nick Krall, manager Terry Francona, catcher Jose Trevino, outfielder Jacob Hurtubise, minor league infielder Cooper Bowman and former Red and Bats fan favorite Corky Miller will attend the event. Broadcaster Jim Day and Mr. Red will also attend.
Baseball fans can participate in Q&A, autograph sessions and learn more about the 2025 season. The event is free and open to the public.
Francona will debut with the Reds Caravan after being hired as the team's manager in October. One of baseball's most beloved managers, Francona was hired by the Reds, returning to a team he played for after stepping down in Cleveland in 2023 because of health reasons.
Francona agreed to a three-year contract through the 2027 season with a club option for 2028. Francona, who won two World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox, replaced David Bell, who was fired by the Reds in the final days of his sixth season. Bell went 409-456 during his tenure.
Trevino, who played in the 2024 World Series for the New York Yankees, was traded to the Reds in the offseason. He won a Gold Glove and Platinum Glove, along with an all-star selection in 2022 with the Yankees.
Hurtubise made his MLB debut last season with the Reds.
Miller played 10 seasons for the Louisville Bats and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played.
