LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A new park in Clarksville has already been vandalized.
According to the Clarksville Parks and Recreation's post on Facebook Tuesday, Ashland Park, which opened July 10, has already "experienced numerous acts of vandalism."
The most damaging incident was shown in a posted photo, showing tire tracks burned into the turf. The department said five turf panels have to be replaced due to this vandalism.
"This kind of behavior is both frustrating and disheartening," the parks department said in the post.
The department is asking anyone with information about the vandalism to contact Clarksville Police Department.
