PETERSBURG, Ky. (AP) -- The Creation Museum plans to add some adventure to the attractions at the popular tourist destination.
Officials at the museum told The Kentucky Enquirer that it will add 25 zip lines with a total of 12,000 feet and 10 sky bridges later this month.
Mike Zovath, senior vice president of Answers in Genesis which owns and operates the museum, said the new attraction is designed to help the museum appeal to a wider audience.
All-day access to the zip line course will cost $89 and admission to the museum can be purchased for an additional $10.
Zovath says the hope is that the zip lines attract people who wouldn't normally visit and that they will decide it's worth a little extra cash to check out the museum's message.
