LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Crews kicked off a pothole blitz Thursday across Louisville.
According to city leaders, there are more potholes this year because of all the snow, rain and plowing this winter.
The Metro Department of Public Works launched the pothole blitz. Crews have already filled several thousand potholes around the city.
Last year, they fixed more than 30,000 potholes. But the city expects that number to be much higher this year.
"We've been working already for a few weeks, and now we are out in full force with our pothole team," Mayor Craig Greenberg said.
If you see a pothole, you can report it to the city by calling 311, or via the city's website by clicking here. You can also submit reports on the city's social media pages.
