LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead and another is injured after a shooting early Tuesday morning at the Greenwood Boat Ramp.

According to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers were called to the 8200 block of Greenwood Road around 3 a.m. for a reported shooting. That's near Cane Run Road. 

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

Officers gave first aid to the victim and applied a chest seal, according to Ellis. 

EMS took the man to UofL Hospital, where he died from his injuries a short time after arriving.

Another man was brought by private means to UofL Hospital a short time later with a gunshot wound from the same incident.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to Ellis.

The relationship of the victims, if any, is unknown at this time.
