LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after being found shot to death in southwest Louisville Saturday.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a reported shooting around 4:14 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Fordhaven Road. That's off St. Anthony Church Road near Pleasure Ridge Park, department spokesperson Sgt. Matthew Sanders said.
Sanders said when officers arrived, they found a vehicle in a ditch and a man in his 20s outside the car who had been shot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sanders said preliminary information from 911 callers and witnesses "indicates a large crowd was present in the area at the time of the incident," and detectives believe they may have critical information.
