LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after being stabbed in Louisville's Clifton Heights neighborhood Monday night.
Louisville Metro Police were called to a reported stabbing around 8 p.m. in the 800 block of River Crest Court off Mellwood Avenue, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said. When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home who had been stabbed, and began life-saving procedures.
Ellis said EMS arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
Ellis said "all parties have been accounted for," and the investigation is still in the early stages. It's unclear at this time whether anyone has been arrested or will be facing charges.
