LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 12-year-old girl was arrested in connection to a shooting last month in Louisville, according to police.
Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of West Chestnut Street around 5:30 p.m. May 30. When police arrived on scene, they found two girls who had been shot.
Both of the girls were taken to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Last week, a 13-year-old girl was arrested in connection to the shooting. She was charged with two counts of assault.Â
On Monday, LMPD announced a second arrested in the shooting. A 12-year-old girl turned herself into LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit.
She has been charged with two counts of assault.
LMPD is still investigating the incident.Â
