LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the murder of another teenager back in February.

Louisville Metro Police said Friday the teen was charged with complicity to murder, attempted murder and second-degree assault.

The teen's name and mugshot are not available because he is under the age of 18.

The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. Feb. 8 in the 1600 block of Gallagher Street at California Park, LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a statement at the time.

Once on scene, officers found a 15- or 16-year-old boy who had been shot. He was pronounced at the scene.

A short time later that same day, another male, whose age was not known at the time, was found shot at Ninth and Cawthon streets, near West Broadway. He was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.

It's unclear if the 17-year-old is also charged in that shooting.
