LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two women are expected to survive after they showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds early Thursday. 

A news release from Louisville Metro Police said LMPD 1st Division officers responded to UofL Health Hospital just before 4:30 a.m. after the two walked in after being taken there "by private means in different vehicles."

Their injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to the release. The exact location of the shooting has not been determined. 

The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but there are no suspects at this time.
