LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police arrested a Kentucky man accused of exchanging gunshots with officers after a robbery.

According to LEX18, officers say 20-year-old Jaylin Clark robbed someone around 2 a.m. Monday in Lexington and took their vehicle.

Officers found the vehicle nearby and said they saw Clark in the area armed with a rifle.

He reportedly ran off, and officers followed.

Police said he fired a shot and they returned fire, but no one was hit.

Clark faces charges including wanton endangerment, carjacking, fleeing or evading police and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Kentucky State Police is now investigating the shooting.
