LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 21-year-old woman was arrested after a shooting in the Clifton Heights neighborhood on Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of Lindsay Avenue, near Brownsboro Road, around 6:50 p.m. Police found a woman who had been shot in the leg, and then she was taken to the hospital.
She was taken to UofL Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ellis.
Christian D. Colon was arrested Tuesday night and charged with assault, three counts of wanton endangerment and assault (domestic violence).
Ellis said LMPD's 5th Division and Domestic Violence Unit is handling the investigation.
