LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after a road rage shooting in Clarksville, Indiana, on Thursday.
According to Clarksville Police, the incident started on Interstate 65 South. The two vehicles involved stopped "in the area of" U.S. 31 South and Stansifer Avenue.
Police believe two individuals had gotten out of their vehicles and approached one another when the shooting happened and a man was killed, according to a Facebook post by CPD.
The department initially said police were investigating a "road rage incident involving a firearm."
On Friday, Clark County Deputy Coroner Donnie Growe identified the victim as Eric Luckenbill, 35, of Bedford, Kentucky.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and "it will take time to sort out the evidence."Â
The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
