LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Four people were arrested Monday morning after a drug investigation in Madison, Indiana, according to police.
The Madison Police Department said officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of West Main Street around 5:30 a.m. A probable cause search was initiated after officers smelled narcotics in a car driven by Derek Snell.
Police said they found methamphetamine, controlled substances, narcotics paraphernalia and syringes.Â
Snell was charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license and possession of a controlled substance. Emily N. Brierly was charged with possession of a syringe/hypodermic needle and possession of paraphernalia. Brad W. Parker and Scott M. Doty were both charged with possession of paraphernalia.Â
"Our officers are working diligently to enforce the laws of the State of Indiana in efforts to keep our community safe. This type of behavior will not be tolerate," Madison Police Maj. Rick Mundt said.
