LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 49-year-old man was arrested in Texas in connection to a homicide in the Russell neighborhood in August, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD found Antawane M. Wallace stabbed in a parking lot near 26th and Chestnut streets around 2:30 a.m. Aug. 18. Wallace died a at the hospital a short time later.
LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis said Machir T. Miller was arrested in Greenville, Texas, on a warrant for murder and wanton endangerment in connection to the murder.
Miller was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service and Greenville Police Department on Sept. 28, 2023. Miller is currently awaiting extradition from Texas to Kentucky, Ellis said.
