LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday afternoon in Fern Creek, Louisville Metro Police say.
The shooting was reported at 3:15 p.m. in the 5600 block of Oxford Court, according to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis. That's in an apartment complex not far from Bardstown Road and Fern Creek Park.
Once on the scene, officers found a man and a woman who were shot. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to UofL Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Ellis said the Homicide Unit is investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.
