LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County coroner's office has identified the victim from a deadly shooting in Louisville's Phoenix Hill neighborhood Saturday night.
Antwawn Shackleford, 39, was shot and killed at Dosker Manor apartments on Saturday. LMPD reports the shooting happened around 8 p.m. in Building A.
Police found Shackelford with multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
LMPD Maj. Shannon Lauder said all parties have been accounted for and a person was detained after the shooting.
Dosker Manor apartments on East Muhammad Ali Boulevard are subsidized housing with low-rent costs intended for seniors and disabled community members.
Residents of Dosker Manor have endured deplorable living conditions, leading them to plead for relief from Louisville Metro Housing Authority. Months after reports of bed bugs, mold, mice, maggots and other problems at the public housing, people who live at Dosker Manor said very little has been accomplished.
Anyone with any information related to the shooting is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at 502-574-5673.
