LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville judge quadrupled the bond for a 22-year-old woman arrested in connection with a double murder that took place near Okolona in September.

Louisville Metro Police arrested Jazmine Brown, 22, Monday and charged her with two counts of complicity to murder in connection to the shooting. Brown was also charged with receiving stolen property of a firearm.

In court on Tuesday, a judge set her bond at $1 million.

The shooting happened at an apartment complex on Napa Valley Court just before 10:30 a.m. Sept. 29, according to LMPD spokesman John Bradley. That's in a neighborhood off South Park Road near Blue Lick Road.

Bradley said witnesses told officers on scene they heard multiple gunshots inside the apartment and saw "several" people running from the scene afterward.

Once inside, officers found two "young" men dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Court documents identified the victims as Kaiveon Faulkner and Marion Caldwell.

Court records said Brown was a roommate to the victims and was involved in planning the shooting with three unknown people.

Police said Brown was in direct communication with the three suspected shooters and told them the door to the residence where the victims lived was unlocked, so they could go in while they slept.

Brown later arrived on scene and told police they were her roommates, according to police.

Officers were able to corroborate witness statements through jail calls made by Brown to one of the suspects about the shooting, police said.

Police said the LMPD Homicide Unit's investigation remains ongoing. It's unclear whether any other arrests are anticipated.
