LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Bullitt County man was arrested Friday and charged with killing his wife.

Richard Chesher, 67, was booked into the Bullitt County Detention Center around 3:45 a.m. Saturday and charged with murder-domestic violence, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

According to the Bullitt County Coroner's Office, Chesher allegedly used a wooden board around 10 p.m. Friday to kill his wife.

Officials said Chesher was attempting to move her from the house in the 100 block of Williamsburg Court to the back of a truck.

When police arrived, she was found in the garage.
