Coroner identifies 2 men found shot to death inside vehicle near Louisville's Klondike neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two men found shot to death inside a vehicle near Louisville's Klondike neighborhood Friday afternoon have been identified.

The Jefferson County Coroner's office said Sunday Rashon Tyler Holloway, 28, and Troy D. Young Jr., 27, died from gunshot wounds.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to an apartment complex near the intersection of Breckenridge Lane and Mannerdale Drive just before 4 p.m. Friday on a report from a concerned citizen about a vehicle that was left running.

Once on scene, police found the vehicle and two men, Holloway and Young, unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside.

EMS pronounced both dead at the scene. Investigators were working to determine whether or not the men knew each other.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but as of Friday had no suspects and had made no arrests.
