LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after two men were found shot and killed in a vehicle outside an apartment building near the city's Klondike neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to the apartment complex near the intersection of Breckenridge Lane and Mannerdale Drive just before 4 p.m., according to LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis.
A "concerned citizen" had reported about a vehicle that was left running outside the apartment building. Once on scene, police found the vehicle running and two men unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside, Ellis said. It's unclear how long they had been there.
EMS was called and pronounced both men dead at the scene. Investigators are trying to determine whether or not the men knew each other.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but had no suspects and had made no arrests.
