LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was shot and killed Monday evening at a park in east Louisville.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers were called to the 600 block of Gatehouse Lane in Douglass Hills on a reported shooting at 7:35 p.m. That's off Blankenbaker Parkway and Finchley Road.
Responding officers found a teenager suffering from a gunshot wound at the gazebo at Warren Walker Park, according to LMPD
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later identified him as 18-year-old Tasean Brown.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is now conducting a death investigation.
