LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 31-year-old man was arrested after hitting a food delivery driver in the head with a gun.

Ricky Cardine II was charged with robbery in connection to an incident in February. He was arraigned Tuesday.

According to court documents, a DoorDash driver was delivering food to Cardine's home Feb. 10, 2025. Cardine hit the driver on the right side of the head with a gun.

Police said Cardine then grabbed the driver's cell phone and refused to return it. 

The victim was taken to the hospital and required stitches. Police said the victim positively identified Cardine, leading to his arrest.

Cardine is being held on a $30,000 cash bond.
