LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The former director of Louisville's youth transitional services pleaded guilty Tuesday in court after crashing a city-issued car and leaving the scene.

Toni Rice, 44, pleaded guilty to several charges including criminal mischief, failure to stop and render aid and tampering with evidence.

Her city car was found crashed in a ditch just off Brownsboro Road near Interstate 71 in July 2024. 

No other cars were involved and she resigned a month later.

The guilty plea recommends a sentence of five years and payment of $21,000 in restitution to Metro Government

She's scheduled to be sentenced on March 5.
