LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jefferson County grand jury indicted a 46-year-old Louisville man for murder in connection with a fatal shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood this past May. 

Fragust Ford was indicted Oct. 22 on one count of murder and two counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon in connection to the shooting May 26 in the 1600 block of Patton Court, according to a news release. 

Officers found the victim, Paul McMahan, dead from a gunshot wound inside a home. 

Ford was already in custody at the Kentucky Department of Corrections with a $100,000 cash bond on unrelated charges. He has a court appearance scheduled for Oct. 28.
