LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Madison, Indiana man wanted on multiple charges has been arrested in Texas.

37-year-old Abel Martinez was arrested in Jefferson County, Texas this week.

Indiana State Police said in a release an investigation began in Oct. 2024 after Martinez made allegations that an ISP trooper, an officer with the Madison Police Department, a judge and other public officials of assisting in human trafficking his ex-wife and children.

ISP learned there was no evidence to back up the allegations, but revealed that Martinez was stalking and harassing his ex-wife for the past three years.

Martinez is charged felony stalking, false information and harassment, which are both misdemeanors.

ISP said he will be extradited back to Indiana soon.
