LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office made a major drug bust on Wednesday.
As part of an ongoing investigation to stop drug trafficking across the county, and with the help of the department's K-9 Unit, 108 pounds of marijuana and two pounds of suspected heroin laced with fentanyl was seized.
The seizure stemmed from a routine drug detail leading to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Criminal Interdiction Division's most significant seizures of the year, according to the department. Â
