LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman near the Shawnee Park boat ramp in Louisville last weekend.
Officers were called to the reported shooting around 3:24 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in the 4600 block of Shawnee Park Drive, Sgt. Matt Sanders, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said at the time.
Once on scene, police found a woman in her 30s who had been shot multiple times in a wooded area near the boat ramp. She was pronounced dead at the scene, Sanders said. Her family later identified her as Rachel Hughes, 32.

Shortly after the shooting, police arrested Michael Bullock, 27, and charged him with Hughes' murder.
According to Bullock's arrest citation, he was seen on surveillance video leaving a Bardstown Road business with Hughes on the day of the shooting. Hughes' mother said the two had been living together.
They were then seen driving to the boat ramp in west Louisville, where surveillance cameras captured them both getting out of the car. Police said Hughes was walking ahead of Bullock when he pulled out a handgun and fired eight times, shooting her twice in the head and six times in the neck and torso. He then walked back to the car and left.
According to court documents, Bullock returned to the scene two times with someone else. Bullock and that unidentified co-defendant were seen grabbing Hughes' body and dragging it into a nearby wooded area.

Friday, LMPD said its Homicide Unit had arrested that co-defendant, a juvenile, in connection with Hughes' death on charges of receiving stolen property, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence. Because the suspect is underage, their identity was not released and is being referred to as LQ.
According to an arrest citation, the juvenile helped Bullock drag Hughes' body into the wooded area and assisted in disposing of evidence.
Police said the juvenile was seen on video driving Hughes' vehicle down the boat ramp to pick up Bullock—who appeared to have disposed of Hughes' phone in the area of the river. The juvenile was then seen driving away from the scene with Bullock in the passenger seat.
Bullock was charged with murder, robbery, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Police said Bullock is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing a handgun and is on federal probation. He is being held at Metro Corrections on a $1 million bond.
