LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police arrested a Kentucky man accused of intentionally releasing a raccoon into an open business.
Murray Police got a call just after 9 p.m. Friday, June 6, that a man let a raccoon loose inside an open business and then left the scene. The raccoon ended up biting someone inside the business.
Shortly after, officers located the suspect, 40-year-old Jonathan Mason, driving and pulled him over. Police said Mason refused to roll down his windows or get out of the car. Police had to remove Mason from his car.Â
Police said Mason had previously been told he was not allowed on the business' property.
Mason was arrested and charged with assault, criminal trespassing, resisting arrest and failure to maintain insurance. He's being held in the Calloway County Jail.
