LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Lima, Ohio, are asking the public for help to find four children they say were kidnapped by their mother and her boyfriend.
According to a Facebook post by the Lima Police Department, the children's mother, 40-year-old Marianne Merritt does not have custodial rights to the children. She is traveling to Florida with 39-year-old Charles Perkins, her boyfriend, who has been "abusive" toward the children in the past, according to police. Police say he should be considered "armed and dangerous."
The children are described as follows:
Damara Croley, a 13-year-old white female. She is 5'3", weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a red OSU shirt and Spiderman web pants.
Benjamin Karl-Leland Croley, a 12-year-old white male. He is 5'1", weighs 120 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing yellow smiley emoji pants.
Patience Wilson, a 9-year-old white female. She is 4'5", weighs 80 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white top and dark blue or black leggings.
Damien Wilson, an 8-year-old white male. He is 4'5", weighs 111 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and red and black shorts.
Marianne Merrit, the children's mother, is described as a 40-year-old white female who is 5'5", weighs 210 pounds and has red hair and green eyes.
Charles Perkins, Marianne Merritt's boyfriend, is described as a 39-year-old white male with active arrest warrants. He is 5'5", weighs 164 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is said to be armed and dangerous.
The six of them are believed to be traveling in a dark blue 2000 Chrysler Voyager. It has a white passenger door, with an Ohio plate registered as FMQ3175. They are believed to be traveling from Ohio to Florida.
