LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the Parkland neighborhood early Friday morning.
It happened around 3:20 a.m. in the 1200 block of South 32nd Street, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. Officers from the Second Division were sent to investigate a shooting report. When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot in his arm.
The victim received first aid at the scene until an ambulance arrived and took him to UofL Hospital. His injury did not appear to be life-threatening, according to the news release.
