LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man wanted in questioning to a double homicide that took place April 27 fatally shot themselves Wednesday, Louisville Metro Police said.
According to Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for LMPD, officers were serving an unrelated warrant in the 1200 block of South Brook Street in regard to a person wanted for questioning for a double homicide on April 27, 2024, in the 1700 block of West Ormsby.
A man and woman were found shot to death at that location last Saturday.
Police said the person wanted for questioning fatally shot himself inside the residence. No officer fired their weapon, and LMPD's Public Integrity Unit is investigating.
