LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was indicted Thursday in connection with a 2020 shooting in Louisville’s Shawnee neighborhood that killed one person and injured another.
A Jefferson County Grand Jury charged 30-year-old Antjuan D. Murphy on multiple charges including murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
The fatal shooting occurred on September 10, 2020 in the 100 block of N. 40th Street. One male victim, 36-year-old Roger Wayne Johnson, died at the scene; another was injured and taken to the hospital.
Murphy is currently in custody at the Southeast State Correctional Complex, held on unrelated charges.
His bond is set for $250,000 and he is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
