LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A jury found a Louisville man guilty in the murder of his girlfriend in Old Louisville.
Prosecutors argued Anthony Bedford, 44, shot Ranna Bowen in the head at the apartment they shared on South Floyd Street in April 2022.
Police found a gun hidden in a plastic tote and said Bedford was the only other person at the apartment at the time.
Friday, the jury recommended Bedford serve 55 years in prison for murder, tampering with evidence and other charges.
His formal sentencing is set for February 2024.
