LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man will spend a year and-a-half in prison for a bomb hoax involving an IRS processing facility.

Cameron Hyatt, 30, was sentenced this week for making a bomb threat against the facility in last April.

Federal prosecutors said he worked at the facility as a contract employee.

Hyatt also assaulted three special agents a few days later when they were arresting him.

In addition to the prison sentence, Hyatt will be on supervised release for three years and must pay more than $11,000 in restitution.

There is no parole in the federal system.
