LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police arrested two people Thursday that they had been searching for nearly two weeks.
The Louisville Metro Police Department made a Facebook post Feb. 12 asking for help in finding 36-year-old Kenneth Asbury and 34-year-old Whitney Summitt, referring to them as "lovebirds."
Police had been searching for Asbury on various crimes in Louisville, including wanton endangerment against police. Summitt was wanted for allegedly helping him stay on the run.
According to an arrest citation of Asbury's from January, he stole a Cub Cadet 4x4 from Bluegrass Lawn and Garden and crashed it into multiple police cars while fleeing from the police.
Police located him earlier this month and attempted to arrest him, but he ran again and hit multiple law enforcement cars in his path.
Both Asbury and Summitt were scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Friday.
