LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and charged with murder in connection with the shooting of a man found in a vehicle in Louisville's Cloverleaf neighborhood last week.

According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded to a reported crash around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 1500 block of Sanders Lane, near Gutermuth Elementary School.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle who had been shot. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he later died.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. LMPD said the 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Because the teen is underage, he will not be identified.
