LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville woman was indicted after allegedly assaulting an 82-year-old woman in January.

Jamara Cureton, 30, was charged in a home invasion in Valley Station that left an 82-year-old woman hospitalized with severe head injuries.

Investigators said Cureton also confessed to other violent robberies: one in the 12000 block of Hilda Court and one in the 11000 block of Deering Road. Police said Cureton demanded cash from the victims in the Deering Road break-in, but didn't get it. Those victims were then assaulted.

Investigators said Cureton lives in the Valley Station area and was breaking into neighborhood homes at random.

The Jefferson County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Cureton. She was charged with five counts of robbery, one count of assault and three counts of burglary.

Cureton will be arraigned Feb. 26.
