LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is facing charges after shots were fired Friday night in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
According to Jeffersonville Police Spokesperson Isaac Parker, officers responded to shots fired around 10:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of Paddle Wheel. That's near River Heritage Trail off Allison Lane.
Parker said officers spoke to a large group of people at an apartment complex near the area. Through investigation, police determined 25-year-old Miguel A. Matos fired several times at the ground, and police found five spent shell casings.
Police said Matos was cooperative, and the firearm and magazine were confiscated by police.
Matos is charged with criminal recklessness with a firearm and is currently being held in the Clark County Jail.
