LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was arrested on drug-related charges after shots were allegedly fired at a car multiple times in the parking lot of a Jeffersonville apartment complex.
Jeffersonville Police said in a statement that officers responded Thursday to a reported domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Lynndale Drive.
Officers were given a physical description of a man named "Keith" and that he was allegedly armed.
Police then "heard multiple volleys of gunshots near the Edison Apartment complex", which was north of the original call location.
According to police, Keith Lee II was found at the scene, and he matched the description officers were given.
Police said an unassociated person was driving through the parking lot of the Edison, and their vehicle was struck by gunfire multiple times. No one was injured in the shooting.
After multiple interviews and executed search warrants, police seized "a significant amount of illegal narcotics and firearm accessories."
Lee was arrested and is facing numerous drug-related charges and investigators believe there could be more charges in the future.
