LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died at the hospital after being shot in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood Monday night, according to police.
Louisville Metro Police were called to a home in the 600 block of Louis Coleman Jr. Drive at 9:30 p.m. on a reported shooting, department spokesperson Aaron Ellis said in a statement.
Once on scene, police found a man inside the home with a gunshot wound. Ellis said officers rendered aid to the man until EMS responded.
The man was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he died from his injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating. Investigators believe they have "all parties" accounted for.
Police did not clarify whether anyone had been or will be charged in the case.
