LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after being shot and killed on Sunday night in the Russell neighborhood.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesperson from LMPD, said officers responded to a shooting in the 2500 block of W. Chestnut Street just before midnight.
When they arrived, they found a man with fatal injuries from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating. There are no known suspects.
