LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is expected to survive after being shot in Louisville's Portland neighborhood Sunday night.
According to LMPD spokesman John Bradley, officers arrived to the 2500 block of West Main Street just before 10:30 p.m. on a call of a person possibly shot.
They were unable to find a victim at that location, but found a man with a gunshot wound in the 300 block of North 24th Street about 20 minutes later.
Investigation revealed he was shot in the "vicinity of the 2500 block of West Main," according to Bradley.
He was transported to UofL Hospital for treatment.
LMPD's First Division is investigating.
