LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot early Friday morning in Louisville's California neighborhood.
According to LMPD, officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2300 block of Hale Avenue around 4:16 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical crews transported the victim to UofL Hospital. Police said the man's injuries are considered non-life threatening.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation.
