LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man has been hospitalized after being shot in Louisville's Chickasaw neighborhood Sunday evening.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, said officers responded on a reported shooting in the 4500 block of Riverview Avenue just before 6 p.m.
Police found a man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. According to Ellis, the man was taken to UofL Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit will be investigating the shooting. There aren't any known suspects yet.
