LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized after a shooting in southwest Louisville Wednesday night.

Louisville Metro Police officers were called to the area of Taylor Boulevard near Woodruff Avenue on a reported shooting around 9:45 p.m., LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said in a statement. That's not far from the ramp from Interstate 264 West onto Taylor Boulevard. 

Once on scene, officers found a man who had been shot. He was transported to University Hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, Mitchell said.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
